Here all of our programs at SJL Dog Training are completely customizable to fit exactly what your dog needs! To make sure we tailor your program accordingly, a complimentary in-home consultation is required prior to any training sessions taking place.
General Service Dog
Tasking can include but is not limited to:
-Deep Pressure Therapy
-Interrupting unwanted and self-harm behaviors
-Differential Bonding
-Creating Personal Space Barriers
-Alerting to take medication
-Going and finding help
Commonly services for autism, PTSD Veterans, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder
Mobility Service Dog
-Weight bearing
-Counter-Balancing
-Pushing Wheelchairs
-Opening and closing doors (ITEM RETRIEVAL REQUIRED FOR THIS TASKING)
-Finding help for a fallen patient
Requirements for Dog Qualification:
60 pound weight or more
At least 2 years of age
Medically cleared and signed off by a licensed veterinarian
